Behind The Wheel

After the CDRS has received or completed the clinical evaluation, if appropriate, they will conduct a behind the wheel evaluation with you. A behind the wheel evaluation involves the client in the driver seat of the dual controlled vehicle, while the CDRS is in the passenger seat. During this, the CDRS will evaluate your physical, cognitive and visual performance skills while you are driving the vehicle to determine your fitness to drive.
